- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Allstate is a cut rate insurance scheme. I don't know how the Insurance Commissioner lets them stay in business. Their customer service is wonderful until you need them. I was recommended by a friend to use this office. I have never met my agent. A tree fell on my house a few weeks ago and it took an adjuster a week and a half to come look at the damages. To add insult to injury they have a clause in my policy that ups my deductible if damage is due to wind storm or hale. They gave me a quarter of the amount it will take to fix my home. It will not be made whole. Also, I had a small claim in a parking lot and they doubled my premium. Before these two claims I had never had a claim. They are fantastic until you need them then you turn into a Liberty Mutual commercial. Uncovered and overcharged.September 13, 2017by Carolyn Hunter
