  Im going to try to keep this short... Dont even walk through the door. Find another vet. Staff was friendly and very helpful and caring, but Dr Kay is a joke. I almost had to put down my 14 yr old dog bc he did not read into the bloodwork. He just threw the wrong medication at me and charged me. They couldnt even get the dosage right! Which could have killed my dog... Kay will NEVER have my business again. **BONUS- its a drive but Bartow Animal Hospital saved my girl. ((HIGHLY RECOMMENDED))

  We will NEVER go back to Kay Animal Hospital. Our cat had blood in her urine and they had to sedate her for x-rays and blood work. All Dr.Kay had to say was "I don't see any stones in her bladder. I have no idea what's wrong with your cat." We spent $500.00 and they had no clue what was wrong. They also gave her a super strong sedation and sent us home with our drunk cat. They didn't even tell us that it would last over 12 hours. She could barely lift herself up and she couldn't even get inside her cat litter box. We were told by another vet that there are different sedations you can give to animals. Some that last all day and some that last 10 minutes. I think Dr.Kay gave her a strong sedation on purpose. They didn't seem to really care about our cat.

  I cannot say enough good things about the staff here at the clinic. They are friendly, and go above and beyond with the care of our fur babies. Anyone who has a pet knows they are like family, and the vet and staff at Kay understand and respect that by providing the absolute best care possible. So glad we found them when we moved to the area.
